Nagrada Gran pri pripala je filmu „Atlantiks“, francusko-senegalske rediteljke Mati Diop. Ona je i prva žena afričkog porekla koja se našla u takmičarskoj konkurenciju ostvarenja u Kanu, prenosi AP.
Nagrada za najboljeg glumca otišla je u ruke Antonija Banderasa za ulogu u filmu Pedra Almodovara „Bol i slava“, dok je za najbolju glumicu proglašena Emili Bičem za ulogu u filmu „Mali Džo“.
Belgijanci, braća Žan Pjer i Luk Darden osvojili su nagradu za najbolju režiju za ostvarenje „Mladi Ahmed“, preneo je Tanjug.
